Magnetic Suspensions (Research and Development) limited was founded in 1996 by Electronics and Magnetics research post graduates from universities right across the UK; the aim was to establish the most up to date magnetics technology research base in the world. The team that has now evolved, is rapidly proving to be one of the leading authorities in all aspects of magnetic development. The objective is to provide a world wide service to companies requiring expertise in magnetics.

Our research team boast 9 gold medal awards world wide for design and development of magnetic systems, along with the prestigeous top U.S.A award "The Grand Prix" 96/97, awarded for the Magnetic Suspensions System which allows objects up to 3kg to levitate with an air gap of between 2cm and 5cm, at extremely low power.
