Medical research projects

Two research projects are being carried out at medical establishments, one being in the field of cancer research, where two years of work is showing intriguing results. The other area at present being researched is theraputic applications using magnetic feilds.

Advancement of suspension system

Work has been undertaken on a new advanced suspension system for a French company; this is due for launch within the next few months.

Subcontracted work is carried out in the following areas:

Magnetic Suspensions Ltd. - Isle of Man

All aspects of the suspension system, is research on an ongoing basis, for their clients world wide. One of their existing product, known as ‘Tetra-float’, is a suspended globe which sells into the commercial, business executive and educational market which was developed by our Research company.

Magnetics Suspensions LtdThe permanent magnet is mounted inside the floating object which can be made of any material including thin magnetic materials. The field generator is positioned above the floating object and the object then floats in mid air (as shown in figure 1). The position of the floating object is monitored by the electronics and the object remains suspended even if a hand is passed through the magnetic field. The suspension technique is repulsion so if there is a power failure then the floating object returns to the field generator and does not fall down.
